Verification Standards

Every attraction, hotel, guide and vehicle on this platform is meant for a visitor who has never set foot in Nigeria before. That visitor can't tell a well-run site from a risky one by looking at a photo - so we do the checking up front, not after something goes wrong.

Listings are added by our team using site visits, state tourism board records and, where available, existing licensing with the Nigeria Tourism Development Corporation. Each listing carries the state's current risk tier, so an attraction in a restricted state is never shown as freely bookable.

Guides are onboarded with a valid means of identification and a review of their track record with previous visitors. Guide payouts are only released after a completed, verified visit - which keeps the incentive aligned with actually showing up and doing the job well.

Transport partners must supply proof of roadworthiness and a licensed driver before a vehicle is listed. Vehicles operating in restricted states are additionally paired with the mandatory security escort at booking.

We ask every tourist for a passport number and a selfie during profile setup. This isn't bureaucracy for its own sake - it's what lets local partners and our safety team confirm who's actually on the ground during an SOS alert or a dispute over a booking.
