Lagos

Lekki Conservation Centre

Africa's longest canopy walkway, 401 metres through coastal forest, home to monkeys, monitor lizards and over 100 bird species. A 78-hectare reserve established in 1990, roughly 40 minutes from Lagos Island.

Badagry Heritage Route

Badagry preserves some of West Africa's most significant slave-trade heritage sites, including the Seriki Abass museum, the Point of No Return and the route once walked to the coast. A sober, essential heritage visit roughly 90 minutes from Lagos Island.

Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge

A 1.36km cable-stayed bridge connecting Lekki and Ikoyi across the Five Cowrie Creek, and one of Lagos's most recognisable modern landmarks, especially lit up at night. A vehicle toll applies; pedestrians can view it from either bank.

Eko Atlantic City

A planned city rising from reclaimed Atlantic coastline in Victoria Island, built partly to halt Lagos's coastal erosion. Visitors come for the Eko Atlantic Boulevard, beachfront views and the skyline of towers under construction.
